Kari Wuhrer was born April 28, 1967. She is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer's career began as she was a teenager. Her most famous roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders as well as Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). Her family has given her three brothers. In her teens, she sang in nightclubs in the night, as well as sneaking out of her family home to perform. From the Wooster School at the age of thirteen, she began studying acting. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, under the famous instructor Uta Hagen. She studied with her. She was born on the 28th of April, 1967 at Brookfield, Connecticut. Kari is the daughter of a German-American father as well as a mother from Germany. Kari was born into the family that included four members. As an teen, she would perform in clubs by sneaking away from her home. Kari at the time was thirteen years old, was enrolled at the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor known as Uta. Kari got into acting while she was still a teenager. She had her first major breakthrough in the form of MTV Remote Control in 1987.
