Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actress, singer (born on April 28, 1967). She began her professional career as an teen and is most well famous for her character of Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and car salesman. There are three of her siblings. She was a teenage singer who performed in clubs, escaping from the family in order for the sake of performing. When she was just a teen, Kari would perform in clubs by sneaking away from her home. Kari began studying acting when she was just 13 years old. Her next stage of study was acting at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College in addition to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, along with Uta Hagen who was a famous teacher. Kari stepped into acting as aged a teenager. Her first break on television was 1987 on MTV's Remote Control.
