Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28 1997) was an American performer and actress. Wuhrer began her career as she was a teenager. She is most known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders, as well as as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised within Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble, who worked as a cashier, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her siblings include three. As a child she sang in nightclubs and slipped out to perform. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, performer and actor. She started her acting career at the Wooster School when she was thirteen years old. She was born April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 on the 28th of April in Brookfield Connecticut. Her father is an German American policeman and a salesperson for autos. Kari was born in a family that included four members. When she was in her teens performing in nightclubs, she was able to make a name for herself in secret, escaping to perform. Kari, who was then 13 years old, attended the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher who was known for her work as Uta. Kari began acting when she was a teenager, and her first break on television was 1987 on MTV's Remote Control.
