Lisa Edelstein, an American actress best well-known for House, a Fox medical drama series. In a strictly Jewish childhood she relocated from Wayne in the state of Wayne to New York City when she was just 18 years old to go to the Tisch School of the Arts. She became very involved with the nightlife scene in the city of New York, and did enough to get recognized by the media. At the same time she began to become aware of AIDS' devastating effects. She used both her experience in the music industry and public recognition to create and star in a new musical, Positive Me. Soon after she was employed by MTV to host Awake On The Wild Side. After the show ended the show, she began appearing on films and television productions beginning with small parts, but gradually establishing her acting career.
