LeBron Raymone James Sr., born 30th December 1984, is an American professional basketball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). James is known as King James and is considered to be among the best basketball players ever. James won two Olympic gold medals as well as four NBA championships. James is the NBA All-Star who has the highest number of playoff points. He also has with the second most points in his career total, and seventh-highest assists total in his career. James is a member of 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams, and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. The third most amount in NBA Finals ever was ten, with eight being consecutive between 2011 and 2018. James was selected to join the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player ever to score 10,000 or higher career points. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town from Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media for his potential as an NBA star. He was a top pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, He quickly established himself as one of the best league players winning an NBA MVP award in both 2009 and 2010. James went free agency in 2010, after he failed to win championships with Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent actions in sports history.
