James was selected as a part of the NHL75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player in history to earn more than 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, which is located near his home in Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped up by media. To prepare for the pro game his dream, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick during the NBA draft of 2003.
